Get to Know Me

Through my passion for history, I’ve found my true love in a life of service. For the past eight years, civil rights have fueled my life. Through research, I’ve discovered the ongoing struggle of African Americans. More than ever, the history of African Americans is at the forefront of education, with new stories about the past emerging daily. My films, writings, and speeches include not only the struggle of African Americans but the one of the unsung hero, who gave their lives for something they believed in. Heroes like Marian Anderson, The Friendship 9, and Cleveland Sellers all sacrificed their safety, education, scholarship, families, and life for the sake of equality.
